Overall Rating       Good kit, but with some problems.
Comments I originally purchased this vacuform kit back in 1992 via a mail order company - I want to say it was from Lunar Models back when they were in Texas, before Phil Lublin bought them. I'm currently in the process of building a second for a friend, as well as uprating/updating my first.

Anyhow, it's a good conversion kit, but needs some work. Some of the details are a bit soft in a few areas, such as the RCS thruster "supports" on the back of the top nacelle. On the regular ERTL Enterprise/-A kit, this sticks out much farther than on the SFSM kit. Relatively simple fix with some sheet styrene and a little patience. Also, there is no detail for the top warp nacelles bussard collector's. Other than that, it's a pretty straight foward conversion kit. Follow the directions and you'll have a pretty good representation of the refit Federation class dreadnought. Definitely worth the money.
