Comments Just an observation regarding the scale of this kit and the Revell offering. The figure in the Revell kit seems to fit the cockpit quite well. Although the figure is not very well done in that the head is either too small or the legs are a bit too long, it does average out very, very close to 1/32 scale, not 1/24. It compares very well in scale with Airfix multi-pose plastic, military figures. These 1/32 figure sets, although they do not include a pilot of any kind would be a fine source for a conversion to a Jedi pilot for the Revell kit. So; if that is the case, then based on the comparisons in the former review, the AMT kit would be fairly close to 1/35 scale, maybe just a tad smaller. That would make a world of plastic and resin figures and accessories suitable for use with that kit. I build and scratchbuild primarily in 1/35 military and sci-fi, vehicles of my own design,so I am always watching for this kind of compatability. I hope this helps in some way to see more possibilities in either of these kits...I too started out thinking these starfighters were a little lame looking and then found the design more and more appealing. So much for first impressions eh?
