Comments As has been stated before, this kit is a bit overpriced, particularly now that it is out of production. The only alternative was the Club-M resin kit, which though much more detailed, was also about four times the price.

The pieces for this kit are all well cast and except for the joints below the upper sponson's "grab handles", surprisingly free of sinkholes and ejector pin marks.

Assembly is very simple and the pieces fit together tightly enough to not need glue, though the kit isn't a snap-together kit. Detail is sparse, but since it's an adaptation of an anime subject, it's mostly acceptable.

The ease of assembly and clean up makes painting very easy. The only negative for the entire kit would be the large canopy "locks" molded into the clear plastic right in front of the pilot, in the upper and lower clam-shell pieces.

The kit also comes with a few larger scale figures, cast in vinyl. Nice detail here, but a bit tricky to paint due to the vinyl.
