Overall Rating | Good kit, but with some problems. |
Comments | After I saw the Voyager episode "Equinox" I was dying to find out if there was a kit available. When my birthday finally rolled around, my grandparents asked what I wanted, I showed them the kit for the Equinox and they bought it right in front of me. I was a little disappointed at how small it was but I got over that very quickly. The base that came with it was very cool, the starfleet emblem from TOS with a Bat'Leth and a sword that reminded me of King Arthur's Excaliber. I was very puzzled to see that the nacelle pylons were both bent at an odd angle. They were bent in towards the engineering hull and pointed down. Being a lot younger and a lot less expierienced, I figured I could just bend then to the right shape, instead I broke one off and left the other one. I'm eventually going to get a new kit and redo it. I think the kit will look great when it's put up against the three-ship kit Voyager, and I know it looks good against the larger Voyager kit. It's a worthwhile kit to get if you know how to fix the few problems. |
