This is the Finemolds 1/48 X-Wing built stock, except that I cannibalized some hose parts from a 1/48 AT-ST kit to make the cockpit look a little more screen-accurate. Pilot painted in artists oils. Kit painted in Tamiya spray paint aircraft colors (good ol' Light Grey - USAAF!). Kit weathered with oils. Engine glow painted with oils, using gradations of white and magenta to make it look "hotter" farther in. Blaster cannon barrel muzzles drilled out with a very tiny drill. Freehand painting of cockpit dash details - the molded-in details didn't do justice to the proud X-Wing.
