Alternate Earth #1966 - it's 1977 and Gene Lucas hasn't been able to get a buyer for his TV project that he's been pitching for years, becoming close friends with George Rodenberry, who's also had trouble selling his ideas, the two decide to collaborate and come up with a new Pilot/Movie called Trek Wars!

The hero ship, the Enterprise, is a Destroyer-class vessel in the Imperial Starfleet. Captain Han Kirk, and his first officer Chewspocka, have a mission to end the war by bringing a lone Jedi Doctor through the Klingon Trooper war to a planet that desperately needs thier help. When they arrive, the planet is destroyed, and with the rescue of Princess Lehura, the adventure begins as they must face the evil Darth Kahn...

Anyway, Simple concept. I wanted to build an Enterprise with a Star Wars aesthetic. This is the result.

I trimmed the saucer of an old Enterprise kit and, using alot of HOT water, bent some side walls from an old Star Destroyer into the circle, and the challenge began. I only had one nacelle from the Enterprise kit, so I chopped it up and turned it into two melding it with engines from an Arc 170 model. Almost every other part was taken from some Star Wars kit, and anything else was sheet styrene and random bits from my greeble box. Oh, and a couple of things from a DS9 kit. I didn't want any name markings on it as Star Wars doesn't usually have that sort of thing, and I didn't want glowing bussards or any other glowing parts as that also seems too Star Trek and I wanted to see how Star Wars I could go with it still being recognizeable as an Enterprise.
