This is my build of the DeAgostini 1:43 scale Millennium Falcon which took just over 6 months to build. I used a lot of photoetch parts from Paragrafix including the full cockpit set, corridor flooring, gun wells, exhaust vents on the back (with resin fans), interior set, and engine grill. I also added a ton of 3d printed parts - controls in the cockpit, barrels in the hold, and sconces for the corridor lighting.

A ton of LEDs - most of which I wired myself, but a few from the actual kit - were used. I added landing/navigation/flood lights, docking ring, upgraded engine lighting for a brighter effect, backlighting and fiber optics in the cockpit and gun wells, and more lighting on the base.

Painting was mainly rattle can Tamiya colors (Insignia white for the hull) and airbrush shading.

The base is about 90% scratch built using MFD board and various types of wood. Some details of the base used miniature terrain scenery for crates, and Gundam display stand parts for the cranes.
