Overall Rating | Good kit, but with some problems. |
Comments | I found that the kit had some ream lines that when removed, alters or obliterated surrounding detail like the sensor bands around the hull and windows. None of the windows seemed of uniform depth/consistency. Better to file or sand away the sensor strips and fill the windows and get the JTGraphics detail sheet. The "bussards" of the nacelles are jagged and hard to fix.
Being so small, it's understandable how some of the finer detail can't be captured in what could be a really good kit if it were somewhat bigger rather than having to stick to the same old 1/1400 scale. Even another inch would have done wonders for this kit. |

Overall Rating | Well worth getting. |
Comments | This is an excellent representation of the Miranda-class starship. Goes nicely with the Starcraft Models Refit Enterprise for a shelf display straight out of "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan". Highly recommend it. |

Comments | This is a fantastic kit, the lines are clear, the mold on my kit, was great, however, the starboard side edge of the saucer was mishaped. Not by much, but enough to warant a dip in boiling water, a quick adjustment, and another dip in cold water. Once this was done, the model went together, beautifully. Plus i got extra decals from jt graphics, and now i have another great ship, for my 1-1400 scale. thanks starcraft, another fantastic jod. |
