Comments For my birthday this year, my dad sent me the Delta Flyer kit. Let me tell you it is small. The painting is easy. An overall hull color of MM Light Ghost Gray helps make it match with my Limited Edition Voyager Set. The biggest problem is painting the bussard collectors (those red things on the front of the engins for those of you who aren't Trekkies.), and the impulse engins. The bussard collectors aren't clearly marked although if you do a little research you can make a good guess. The impulse engins need to be done with something with a fine point on the end. I recommend a toothpick. The decals don't like to be moved because they dry very fast. What I should have done, which I didn't, is spray a gloss coat over the model before I applied the decals. I did it after and it kinda ruined one of the decals on the side. But overall it is a good kit to get to accurize or make a diorama with the Voyager. This project after everything was done only took me about two hours to complete.
