USS Babylon, NCC-85234, Alaska-class. The culmination of about 7 years of design, reworking, redesign, & various test constructions. It was intended as an advanced replacement for the aging Ambassador-class ships. Most of the hull is from 2 1/2500-scale Galaxies, except the pylons, which are the outer edges of a Miranda rollbar, and the upper wing, which is from a small TOS Klingon D-7 cruiser. The lifeboat hatches are the decals from the Sovereign- class kit. The wing-on-saucer idea is something I've toyed with for a while, but this does NOT imply a joint Klingon/Starfleet endeavor. As an homage to one of my favorite sci-fi shos, the quote on the dedication plaques reads, "The Babylon Project was a dream given form...."
