Here are few pics of my ERTL Pod Racer from Star Wars Episode 1. I buried the base of the "Racer" in the dirt to give it an effect of flight. I made it to where it would seem like it was making a left turn. I decided to paint the lil' Anikin figure w/ jet exhaust colored paint. I figured sitting behind two jet engines, ya might get a bit dirty. I did paint his "sealtbelt" a bright orange, so in case of an accident you might be able to see where to cut him out of the pod.

I heated the left steelton cable leading to the left engine, so I could not only get it to glue onto the engine but to give it a look of some sort of flexibility as in the movie. I went to see the movie two times (so far). The first time was to just get some sort of color detail because the models instructions are wrong on some points.
