On the 450th anniversary of the greatest passenger liner disaster ever, the people of Liverpool sponsored a 'fury to be painted with a Titanic image. Unfortunately for them, the pilot, one E.J. Smith, got to feeling frisky - and on its shakedown cruise creamed an asteroid (it must have something to do with the name). Unfortunately, Lieutenant Smith was lost with the fighter - the standard ejection mechanism had been deleted, since it was felt the ship was indestructable... Model by John McDannell, additional artwork by Richard Kessler. |
