The Colonial Marines from time to time had to go street to street to eliminate Cylons in the Human Home Worlds and in Cylon Enclaves. Tough ground assault vehicles were needed, and the LAV-25 Piranha did the job.

The model is a straight-out-of-the-box Trumpeter kit with the Legends LAV-25 stowage resin bits added on. It's really not a sci-fi kit but I saw it and spoke to me saying “Urban Assault in Concrete Camo”.

The Urban Camouflage scheme was hand painted using Acrylics. Gunship Grey is the hull base color with Dark Ghost Grey and Neutral Grey accents. The tires were weathered using a combination of three pastel chalk pencils. The stowage parts were hand painted with acrylics also.
