I really liked the design of the Cylon Basestar from the new Galactica. When I bought my Galactica I also bought Replicas Unlimited Cylon Basestar. Both kits are in the same scale. If not the easiest this is certainly one of the easiest kits to build. The kit consists of two identical "stars" that are glued together 90 degrees from one another. I filled the seam around the circular hub and that was it. I painted the top and bottom and the base with Alclad II Aluminum. The insides were painted with Aircraft Gray. The model was gloss coated and the insides were washed with an oil wash. This was a very simple project that looks good on the shelf with the Galactica.
