Burnin' Blackberry Box

Sponsorship opportunities available ------ Ask us about them!

by Jürgen Rath

Scale: 1/72

This model was a test to see if I could build a spaceship from a simple shape - such as a box. It was made mostly with 4mm plywood. The original shape I chose did not look very aerodynamic, so I changed and added some things.

The base colour is "blackberry" from a rattlecan, over which I sprayed a light mist of pink. The red flames were done with oil colours.

At 1/72 scale, the co-pilot is a big one. "Wuff!"
