I started this kit a few years ago and shelved it because I just couldn't get any good ideas for it and I ended up losing interest in the model. I wasn't planing on using it for this contest, however while me and my son where watching the animated Clone Wars I suddenly was struck with inspiration. I modeled it after Obi wan's speeder bike. When I took it down and looked through the parts I noticed a few key pieces where missing, including the rider and part of the steering vanes and the instructions. Assembly was pretty much straightforward. I changed out the power engine lines with wire mesh and custom designed the steering vanes. I chose "Caribbean Sunset" for the main paint and purple for the accent color.
