Scale: 1/72
After some minor skirmishes Captain Hank Ontaryo of the U.S.S. Vanguard sent his Chief of Security, Lt.Cmdr. Jonathan Quincy for a little shore leave home to earth. After the Dominion war, the Runabout Rio Grande was assigned to the Vanguard . She had suffered minor damages which on Earth could be repaired, so Quincy took the little ship to a small Garage called „FedCoast Customs“ in the bay of San Francisco. He was a little irritated as the owner told him that in the short time only minor changes could be arranged but just went home to see his family
.
The garage owner, Xzibit XII, was happy to get one of this famous Starfleet ships into his hands, as normaly only 20th and 21st century cars were brought here for a little pimping - in old family tradition. After two days the officer returned and Xzibit XII. removed the big,
white blanket from the ship shouting “And here´s your Ride!”
The old officer went numb, holding his hands above his head and said
only one sentence: “The Captain will kill me!”
The base for the Pussy Grande was of course an old 1/72 AMT kit of the Rio Grande.
It underwent some cleanings, repairs and of course got a new paintjob, based on the pussy wagon of Tarantino´s “Kill Bill”. The FedCoast Customs Garage is a foam plate I sprayed medium grey, with model train parts for the big door.
The figures are also from a model train kit and hand-painted to represent Xzibit XII. and Jonathan Quincy.
The cars came from a tuning line and are in Hot Wheels Scale, which fits near enough to the scale of the ship.
